The Journey begins now!!!
Day 01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
You arrive in Delhi by international flight. After a traditional 'Swagat'
(Welcome) our representatives would assist you at the airport and to our
hotel for check in and overnight stay.
Day 02: New Delhi
Breakfast at the Coffee shop. Rest of the morning at leisure. You will be
taken on a guided tour of Delhi, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip
to Old Delhi and followed by visits to the 1648 Red Fort, India's largest
mosque - Jama Masjid and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. Afternoon tour
includes visits to India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus
Temple and Qutab Minar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi-Haridwar (200Kms / 05hrs)
In the morning, we will drive to Haridwar. Haridwar is the gateway to the
four pilgrimages in the Uttrakhand region and is located on the foothills
of Shivaliks. It is on the banks of River Ganges. The River Ganges leaves
the mountains and enters the plains with Haridwar being the first major
town on the plains. Though the Ganges does not lose its rapids completely
nevertheless it becomes very quite and calm here. The city acquires a
unique charm in the evening when the ghats become breathtakingly beautiful
with thousands of Diyas and Marigold floating in the waters of Ganges. We
visit various places like Mansa Devi temple, Sapt Rishi, Daksha Mahadev
temple etc. In the evening we will visit Har Ki Pauri again. In the
evening a Maha Aarti is performed on this ghat. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 04: Haridwar - Ghat (236 Kms./8Hr )
Post breakfast leave Haridwar and drive to Ghat (1331mtrs). Lunch
enroute, Arrive Ghat by evening and Check in Tourist Rest House or Own
Camp.
Day 05: Ghat - Ramni (2550 m) trek 10 km.
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch, The path gradually gains
height, contouring around on the valley's side, through the ubiquitous
terraced fields, to reach the village of Ramni
we camp away from the
houses, on a ridge. Dinner and Overnight stay in tents.
Day 06: Ramni - Jhenjhenpatni (1524 m) trek 13 km.
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch from Ramni to Jinji pani -
through thick forests, encountering trees of walnut and chestnut, and
troops of langur executing spectacular leaps through the foliage
one
of the thickest forests you are likely to see in the Himalaya. Dinner and
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 07: Jhenjhenpatni - Pana (2043 m) trek 12 km.
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch for Pana, Now the climb is
steeper; the forest continues, and soon we are at the twin villages of
Pana-Irani. Dinner and Overnight stay in tents.
Day 08: Pana - Dakwani (2296 m) trek 8 km.
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch, This is the day that we
soon emerge from the forests to gain the altitude of alpine meadows.
Dhakwani is very high and we can expect hoarfrost in the morning! And if
you are lucky, one can actually see bears here! Kuari Pass rises above
this site Dinner and Overnight stay in tents.
Day 09: Dakwani - Kauri Pass (3700 m) trek 8 km.
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch, A steady climb will take
us up on to the Kuari Pass
and, weather permitting, to one of the
grandest views in the Himalaya. It would be worthwhile to make a very earl
y start and be on the pass before 6.00 a.m. before the rising morning
mists block our view of the panorama of snow clad mountains - right from
Chaukhamba to Hati & Ghoda Parbats to Dhaulagiri & Changabang, the
'Shining Mountain'. Dinner and Overnight stay in tents.
Day 10 : Kauri Pass
Spend the day at the meadows exploring the environs of the seemingly
endless meadows. (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and Dinner and Overnight
stay in the Camp.)
Day 11 : kauri Pass - Auli (2750 m) trek 21 km. - Joshimath (15 Kms.
By drive)
Post breakfast we start trek with packed lunch for Auli, Final day of our
classic Himalayan trek is through very picturesque meadows and Deodar
forests. Fairly easy descent meeting shepherds on the way. Upon arrival in
Auli we will leave for Joshimath by our Jeeps. Dinner and Overnight stay
in Deluxe Camp in Joshimath
Day 12: Joshimath - Devprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar (270 Kms. / 8-9
hrs)
Early morning we leave with packed breakfast from Joshimath for Haridwar.
On the way visit Devprayag and Rishikesh. check in hotel on arrival.
Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 13: Haridwar - Delhi (200Kms / 4-5hrs)
After breakfast we visit Har ki pauri and then go to Chandi Devi by Cable
car After lunch we proceed to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & Check-in at your
hotel for Short stay.
Day 14: Depart Delhi
Our tour concludes. Caper thanks you for your patronage and ensures a
