visit some of the world renowned national park's and wildlife sanctuaries
that houses more than 350 species of mammals, over thousand and two hundred
species of birds and more than 30,000 species of insects. Travel to the lush
tropical and evergreen jungles and watch the several endangered species of
animals and in some cases the migratory birds. Hear the roar of the lion
echoing in the jungle, feel the earth grumble as the rhino charges past and
feast at the spectacular sights of the peacocks dancing, cranes feeing their
young ones and flamingoes taking a flight to their nests in the wildlife
sanctuaries of India. There are total of 80 National Parks and more than 441 Wildlife Sanctuaries in India. Each of the park support several species of wildlife, but is usually well known for one particular species. While in India, you get the opportunity to spot the tigers and several other endangered species that are not found anywhere else in the world. Tour to Gir National Park that is the only surviving home to the Asiatic lions, Periyar in Kerala is best known for largest population of the wild elephants, while Manas and Kaziranga in Assam for the one horned rhinos.
