Regarded as one of the most beautiful treks in the Garhwal Himalayas, the Kuari Pass (4,268 m) offers a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. The region remains largely untouched, with higher valleys still unexplored, making it an ideal journey through remote villages and pristine wilderness, far removed from modern influences.

The Kuari Pass Trek passes through dense forests and expansive alpine meadows. The final ascent to the pass is steep and demanding, as it lies along the divide between the Lesser and Greater Himalayas. The grassy ridgeline rewards trekkers with breathtaking Himalayan panoramas, considered among the finest in the world.

From the pass, enjoy spectacular views of legendary Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi (7,818 m), Dunagiri (7,066 m), Kamet, Kalanka (6,932 m), Chaukhamba, Changabang (6,864 m), Neelkanth, Trishul (7,210 m), and many more. A day trek to Pangerchuli Peak is also possible, offering even closer views of the Greater Himalayas.

Day 01Arrive Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and receive a traditional welcome. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Delhi, the national capital, blends ancient heritage with modern life and has served as a seat of power for several dynasties. Explore its rich history shaped by rulers from the Delhi Sultanate, the Mughals, and the British era.

Day 02Delhi – Haridwar

Drive to Haridwar, meaning the “Gateway to God,” located on the sacred River Ganga. Visit Mansa Devi Temple by ropeway and witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of the holiest ghats in India.

Day 03Haridwar – Ghat

Journey through scenic mountain roads along the Alaknanda River. At the confluence of the Alaknanda and Nandakini rivers, continue into the Nandakini valley to reach Ghat. Enjoy a packed lunch en route and arrive by evening.

Day 04Ghat – Ramni

The trek begins through terraced fields and picturesque valleys. Walk towards Ramni Village and camp on a ridge slightly away from the settlement, surrounded by natural beauty.

Day 05Ramni – Jhenjhenpatni

Start the day with river rafting from Ramni, flowing through thick forests and dramatic Himalayan landscapes. After lunch en route, arrive at Jhenjhenpatni by afternoon.

Day 06Jhenjhenpatni – Pana

Trek towards Pana with a slightly steeper ascent through forested trails. Pause for lunch along the way before reaching the twin villages of Pana-Irani.

Day 07Pana – Dakwani

Ascend from forest zones to alpine meadows offering stunning scenery. Enjoy photography and lunch before reaching Dakwani, an area known for Himalayan wildlife.

Day 08Dakwani – Kuari Pass – Gailgarh

A steady climb leads to the Kuari Pass, offering panoramic Himalayan views on clear days. After crossing the pass, descend through the lush meadows of Gailgarh and stop for a hot lunch.

Day 09Gailgarh – Tapoban – Joshimath

Walk across expansive meadows before descending through forests to Tapoban. Continue onward to Joshimath, a key Himalayan pilgrimage town.

Day 10Joshimath – Rishikesh

Drive to Rishikesh, set along the River Ganga and renowned as the Yoga Capital of the World. The town is dotted with ashrams and temples and is also known for Ayurveda and adventure activities.

Day 11Rishikesh – Delhi Departure

Visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, and nearby ashrams. Later, drive back to Delhi for your onward journey.
