Day 01 Excursion to Taj Mahal (Delhi – Agra – Delhi)

Pick-up from your location in Delhi and drive straight to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway (210 km / approx. 3–4 hours). Agra, situated on the banks of the River Yamuna, rose to prominence as the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1526 and 1628. The city is renowned for its magnificent Mughal-era monuments, including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided visit to the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), the eternal symbol of love built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Marvel at the changing hues of the white marble as sunlight falls upon it.

Later, visit the majestic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, originally taken over by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. This grand red sandstone fort functioned as a royal residence and administrative center.

Continue to Sikandara, the tomb of Emperor Akbar, completed in 1613 by his son Jahangir and known for its unique architectural blend.

Later drive back to Delhi and drop at your preferred location.
