Vaishno Devi Tour

Among the many shrines dedicated to Gods and Goddesses across the Himalayan and sub-Himalayan regions, the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine near Katra in Jammu is the most revered. Nestled in the Trikuta Mountains of the lower Himalayas, the sacred cave shrine is located about 61 km north of Jammu at an altitude of approximately 5,200 feet above sea level.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive New Delhi

Arrival in New Delhi. Traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) and assistance by our representative, followed by transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 02 New Delhi – Jammu

Morning at leisure. Later, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Old Delhi landmarks including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Raj Ghat, followed by New Delhi highlights such as India Gate, President’s House, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Qutub Minar. Overnight journey to Jammu.

Day 03 Jammu

Arrival in Jammu and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing of Jammu. Overnight stay.

Day 04 Jammu – Katra – Vaishno Devi

After breakfast, drive to Katra, the base point for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Begin the sacred trek to the shrine, either on foot or by pony. Visit the holy cave shrine housing the three natural pindies of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati. Evening darshan at the temple.

Day 05 Vaishno Devi – Katra

Morning darshan at the shrine followed by return trek to Katra. Afternoon at leisure for rest or shopping.

Day 06 Katra – Jammu – New Delhi

Morning drive back to Jammu. Evening transfer for overnight journey to New Delhi.

Day 07 New Delhi

Arrival in New Delhi. Transfer to hotel for refreshment and rest.

Day 08 Departure

Tour concludes. Timely transfer to the railway station or airport for onward journey.
