The colourful paintings and stucco figures capture attention. The Golden Lotus Tank inside the temple is believed to be created by the lord himself. Devotees take a dip in the water of the tank before taking blessings of the lord and goddess.

Kapileshwar Temple

It is an ancient temple located in Chennai. It speaks volumes about the history of this place. The original temple got immersed in the sea and later the ruins were again transformed into a temple structure. The temple was built in the 8th century by the Pallava rulers. It id dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Shore Temple

It is an enchanting temple located on the sea shore in the mesmerizing town of Mahabalipuram. Built in the 8th century, the temple was constructed in granite in Dravidian architectural style. Over the centuries it stood the test of time and still holds the old-world charm. It offers picturesque views of the Bay of Bengal.

Arjuna's Penance

It is an arresting open air bas-relief statue which was built in the 7th century. With a height of 43 feet, it is known for its ancient architecture. It is an architectural wonder which draws tourists from far and wide.

Brihadeshwar Temple

Recognized as a World Heritage Site, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Its brilliant architectural beauty makes it's a famous temple of Tamil Nadu. It is located in Thanjavur district. It was built by Raja Chola of the Chola dynasty in the 10th century. Its architecture is such that it doesn't cast a shadow in the afternoon. It is 215 feet in height which makes it the tallest temple in the world.
