Day 01 Arrival at Guwahati
Arrive in Guwahati by flight. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome), our representatives will assist you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 Kamakhya Temple & Drive to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site. During the Ambubashi festival, over a million devotees visit this sacred site. Post visit, drive to Cherrapunjee (170 km), the wettest region in the world. En route, visit Borapani Umiam Lake, a serene lake surrounded by sylvan hills. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 03 Explore Krem Mawmluh Cave & Waterfalls
Visit Krem Mawmluh Cave, located 0.5 km west of Cherrapunjee, near Mawmluh village. The cave stretches over 7 km with five river passages. Explore the Cherrapunjee waterfalls, including Nohkalikai Falls, the fourth tallest in India, and the living root bridges. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 04 Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
After breakfast, trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, an indigenous Khasi engineering marvel. Picnic lunch at the bridge. Return to Chera Tourist Resort. Evening at leisure to enjoy the Khasi hills and distant plains of Bangladesh. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Day 05 Drive to Shillong
Drive to Shillong, the 'Scotland of the East'. En route, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for panoramic views. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 06 Shillong Sightseeing
Morning sightseeing in Shillong, home to the Khasi Highland tribes. Explore the city’s colonial and cultural heritage. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 07 Shillong - Kaziranga (280 km / 5 hrs)
Early morning drive to Kaziranga National Park. Afternoon Jeep safari in the park. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 08 Kaziranga Jeep Safari
Early morning Jeep safari to explore the central zone of the park and spot the one-horned rhino along with other rare wildlife. Post lunch, optional second safari. Overnight at tourist lodge.
Day 09 Kaziranga - Kohima (225 km / 4 hrs)
Drive to Kohima after breakfast. Lunch upon arrival. Proceed to Touphema Village Resort (41 km from Kohima), managed by the Angami Naga community. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 10 Kohima & Hornbill Festival
Attend the inauguration of the Hornbill Festival (Dec 1-5). Witness cultural events, traditional dances, folk songs, handicrafts, ethnic food stalls, fashion shows, and beauty contests. Post lunch, visit the WWII Cemetery and The State Museum at Bayani Hill to explore Naga culture. Proceed to Kipfiizha (Kigwema village) and check-in at Dimori Cove Guesthouse. Overnight stay at Dimori Cove.
Day 11 Kipfiizha - Dzukou Valley
Drive to Dzukou Valley via Jakhama village. Trek to the valley (approx. 4 hrs). Situated at 2,438 m on the southwest side of Japfu Ranges, the valley is 25 km from Kohima. Enjoy the serene environment, bamboo brush vegetation, rhododendrons, and seasonal flowers. Overnight in rest house, rock caves, or tents.
Day 12 Explore Dzukou Valley & Return
Morning exploration of Dzukou Valley. Post lunch, return to Dimori Cove and attend Hornbill Festival events. Overnight at Dimori Cove.
Day 13 Kohima - Khonoma
Drive to Khonoma (20 km), the Angami tribal village and home of Naga nationalist leader Angami Phizo. Explore its scenic hilltop setting and historical significance from the Anglo-Naga War. Return to Kohima for overnight stay.
Day 14 Kohima - Jorhat (Tea Capital)
Drive to Jorhat (200 km / 4 hrs). Stay at Thengal Mansion, a historic ancestral house of a tea planter, 15 km from Jorhat. Post lunch, walk through a nearby Assamese village. Overnight at Jorhat.
Day 15 Jorhat - Dirang
Drive through Tezpur’s tea gardens to Bhalukpung (130 km). Visit Tipi Orchidarium en route. Continue to Dirang for hotel check-in.
Day 16 Dirang - Sela Pass
Visit upper and lower Gompas (Buddhist monasteries) at Bomdilla. Drive through Dirang Basti tribal village and proceed to Sela Pass (13,703 ft). Camp overnight.
Day 17 Sela - Chabrilla (5 hrs trek)
Trek to Chabrilla camp after breakfast. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 18 Chabrilla - Nurarang - Tawang (4 hrs trek)
Trek to Nurarang with packed lunch. Visit the high-altitude trout farm at Nurarang, then drive to Tawang. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 19 Tawang Sightseeing
Visit the 350-year-old Tawang Monastery, Ani Gompas (nunneries), and Urgelling Monastery (birthplace of 6th Dalai Lama). Enjoy Monpa tribal dances in the evening. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 20 Tawang - Dirang
Drive to Jang to view waterfalls, then proceed to Dirang (150 km), stopping at Sela Top (14,000 ft). Overnight at Dirang.
Day 21 Camping in Sangti Valley
Overnight camping amidst scenic hills.
Day 22 Sangti Valley - Black-necked Cranes Observation
Morning trek to observe rare wintering black-necked cranes. Return to Dirang Resort. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 23 Dirang - Bhalukpung (130 km)
Drive to Bhalukpung. Post lunch, enjoy rafting on the Jia Bhoreli River at Nameri National Park. Overnight at the park.
Day 24 Bhalukpung - Guwahati (275 km / 5 hrs)
Morning walk in the park along the tiger trail. Breakfast, then rafting and Jeep ride. Picnic lunch and drive to Guwahati. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 25 Guwahati Sightseeing
Explore Guwahati city and the Brahmaputra riverfront. Evening river cruise to witness the sunset on the 'Luit' (river of blood). Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 26Guwahati
Local sightseeing in and around Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 27 Departure
Tour concludes. Transfer to the airport for onward journey. Caper thanks you for your patronage.
