Aayan making a difference to the children of Subhag Foundation, Delhi

SUBHAG Foundation is a not for profit organization working, as the acronym reads, towards Social Uplifting and Building Healthcare At Grassroots. It is registered as a Trust under India Trust Act 1882 and is exempted under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. 

The organization is run and supported by a very passionate and dedicated group of old school friends? which comprises of highly qualified and experienced Engineers, Doctors, Finance professionals, Businessmen, Educators and Corporate professionals.

SUBHAG Foundation aspires to help achieve the potential of each child associated with it, as well as gradually expand the scope and reach of its activities and programs across the country and beyond. This vision of SUBHAG Foundation is implemented through academic support programs - classes in English, Mathematics, Computers, Art and Craft and Yoga, regular Medical check-ups and Health camps, Social Awareness Lectures / Talks at its Learning Centre. Within four of its functioning, the Foundation has demonstratively achieved extraordinary results with academic initiatives and life-skills. It has provided the impetus to increase the number of children being supported by us. We also believe that social empowerment for the underprivileged children can come through building larger social awareness and empathy among school children from all walks of life. With this in mind and to reach out to schools in our larger community we conduct several activities throughout the year.

Our Healthcare initiatives also include distribution of milk and fruits to the children. Some other activities like celebration of festivals and birthdays at the center is also a regular feature to keep the children cheered up and motivated.


The flagship Project: One of the community projects, Subhag’s Annual Poster Design Competition has made it an organization known for its community outreach. With the grateful support of all participating schools in the Delhi/NCR region and other neighboring states, the SUBHAG Poster Design Competition held annually from 2013 to 2016 has been a resounding success with the participation of over 7000 students from all across the country. The competition is fast becoming a platform for the children of our country to showcase their creativity and put their vision into a perspective. We are proud of the beautiful posters and captions we received during the last four years.The competition always culminates with a grand prize distribution ceremony.the ?participants receive certificates every year, the winners of this competition have always been given trophies and exciting prizes. The prize distribution ceremony in August 2013 was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi and was attended by known educationists, medical and corporate professionals. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Dr. Shyama Chona, Padmashree, ex Principal of Delhi Public School RK Puram and Director Tamanna. The event was also attended by Mrs Lata Vaidyanathan, the then Principal Of Modern School Barakhamba Road and Mr Arunabh Singh,Director Innovations,Nehru World School Ghaziabad.
The Subhag team ?also takes the children out? time to time for educational tours, picnics and participate in the events organized by some other organizations too which helps in their personality development through social interaction.
Tree plantation was another initiative Subhag undertook to sensitize children towards nature care.The NGO have also initiated Digital and Financial inclusion through teaching computer operations and getting their bank accounts opened. They would be working more on digital and financial literacy.

The mission of the organization is to assist underprivileged children for their healthy, more aware & educated future. Deliver interventions aimed at creating emotionally & financially strong youth and nurture values among children aimed at creating responsible & proud citizens.Aayan Journeys is proud to have been frequently associated with Subhag Foundation in these endeavours,The Subhag Centre is located at Nagli Jalib New Delhi. All donations to this Trust are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Order no. NQ.DIT (E)/2014-15/DEL-SE-25489-08092014/5493 dated 08/09/2014 received from the Office of the Director of Income Tax (E), Delhi valid from A.Y. 2014-15 onwards
