Moreover, it also attracts thousands of migratory birds from Siberia, Europe, China, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Tibet every year. If you travel to Bharatpur during October to February, you will be able to catch sight of some famous bird species like the Siberian crane, the Siberian Greyleg Goose and the Chinese Bareheaded Goose. This world famous bird sanctuary was made a National Park in 1982 and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Bharatpur Government Museum
