Day 01 Guwahati

On arrival at Guwahati, enjoy a brief welcome ceremony and drive to your hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 02 Guwahati / Jorhat

Early morning drive to Jorhat (207 km), the tea capital of Assam. Check in at the Thengal Mansion, a historic ancestral house of a Tea Planter set amidst an Assamese village, 15 km from Jorhat. The 72-year-old mansion provides insight into Assamese culture and tradition. After lunch and rest, take a walk in the nearby village to experience local life.

Day 03 Jorhat / Sivasagar

After breakfast, drive to Sivasagar to explore the remains of the Ahom Kingdom, which ruled Assam for 500 years before the British era. Visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (burial mounds of Ahom kings) at Charaideo. Return to Jorhat for overnight stay.

Day 04 Toklai Research Station / Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, visit Toklai Tea Research Station to learn all about tea plantations. After lunch in Jorhat, drive to Kaziranga (90 km), home of the one-horned rhino. Overnight stay at a tourist lodge.

Day 05 Kaziranga

Start early (5:30 am) for a jeep safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga National Park. Return for breakfast, then explore the Eastern Range on another jeep safari. After lunch, head to the Western Range for an afternoon jeep safari. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 06 Kaziranga / Guwahati

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati (220 km, approx. 5 hrs). In the evening, enjoy a cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 07 Departure

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure until your departure for your onward journey.
