The East India Temple Tour explores the sacred temples of eastern India. Puri and Konark are among the most important Hindu pilgrimage centers. Puri is renowned for the Lord Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The tour also covers tribal regions such as Tapta Pani, Rayagada, and Jeypore in Odisha.

Day 01Flight to India (New Delhi)
Arrive in New Delhi by international flight. Upon arrival, receive a traditional welcome and assistance at the airport, followed by transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 02New Delhi
Morning at leisure. Later, enjoy a guided tour of Old Delhi, including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Raj Ghat. In the afternoon, visit India Gate, President’s House, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03New Delhi - Bhubaneshwar (by air)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bhubaneshwar. Known as the “City of Temples,” Bhubaneshwar is the capital of Odisha and was once home to thousands of temples built between the 8th and 13th centuries. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.
Day 04Bhubaneshwar - Konark - Puri
Visit the Lingaraj, Rajarani, and Mukteshwar temples, fine examples of classical temple architecture. Drive to Konark to visit the world-famous Sun Temple, built in the 13th century and dedicated to the Sun God. Continue onward to Puri and check in at the hotel.
Day 05Puri
Puri is one of the four major Hindu pilgrimage centers. Visit the sacred Jagannath Temple, an important Vaishnavite shrine and site of the annual Rath Yatra festival. Later, visit Puri Beach, one of India’s most popular and spiritually significant beaches.
Day 06Puri - Tapta Pani (about 310 km)
After breakfast, drive to Tapta Pani. En route, visit Chilika Lake and pass through semi-tribal villages.
Day 07Tapta Pani - Rayagada (about 220 km)
Drive to Rayagada, visiting Desia Kondh tribal villages en route. Enjoy a short hike in the Niyamagiri Hills to see Dongaria Kondh hamlets, followed by a visit to a Kutia Kondh village.
Day 08Rayagada - Jeypore (about 220 km)
Drive to Jeypore with a stop at Chatikona to observe Dongaria Kondh tribal life. In the evening, visit local markets frequented by Bonda and Gadaba tribes.
Day 09Jeypore
Visit Gupteshwar Cave and a nearby tribal village to experience local culture and traditions.
Day 10Jeypore - Bhubaneshwar - Kolkata (by air)
Drive to Bhubaneshwar and continue by air to Kolkata. Formerly known as Calcutta, Kolkata is a historic city with a strong colonial legacy. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Evening at leisure.
Day 11Kolkata
Full-day city tour covering Victoria Memorial, colonial-era buildings around Chowringhee and Dalhousie Square, Jain Temple, Kali Temple, Fort William area, and the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore.
Day 12Kolkata - New Delhi (by air)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to New Delhi. Arrive and spend the rest of the day at leisure before being transferred for onward departure.
Day 13New Delhi
The tour concludes with a timely transfer to the airport or railway station for onward travel.
