The rajputana Sheraton at Jaipur and the Jaypee Palace were excellent but The Park in Delhi, wasn't in the same level, the public spaces like corridor were dirty.

Surajkund Village is a wonderful tourist destination, against the backdrop of Aravali Hills, located only at a distance of around 20 km from the heart of Delhi. The term Surajkund means the reservoir of the Sun. It is located in the state of Haryana and got its name from an ancient reservoir of the 10th century which is located inside it. It is believed that the reservoir was built by a Rajput King.
Offering the rustic ambiance of a village, Surajkund is a perfect place to unwind. The reservoir has been fashioned like a rising sun with an eastward arc. It is surrounded by a semi-circular embankment made of stepped stones. During the monsoon season the tank remain filled with water which adds more charm to it. Most of the people of this place are engaged in agriculture or cattle rearing. Explore the lake and also get acquainted with the culture of the local people here.

The fair boasts of around 400 stalls selling a variety of handicrafts of the various states of India. Even the craftsmen of the neighboring countries also come here to display their handicrafts.
