The rajputana Sheraton at Jaipur and the Jaypee Palace were excellent but The Park in Delhi, wasn't in the same level, the public spaces like corridor were dirty.

A must visit spectacle of Chandigarh is the famous Pinjore Garden. Covering a large are of around 100 acres of land, it houses an array of attractions for the visitors. Known as the Yadavindra Gardens, it is situated in the suburbs of the city. It also holds great mythological value. Legend says that this is the place where Pandavas had visited during their exile period.
Built on a slope, the entire garden is decorated with numerous fountains. There is a channel that runs in the middle of the garden. Fitted inside the channel, these fountains add charm to the park.
There are walkways on the sides of the Channel which are beautifully lined with lush green trees.
A huge pavillion lies at the another end of the channel, which has a terrace. From there, one can have the spectacular views of the garden.
Attractions
This is a popular picnic spot, which offers you to enjoy a delightful time with its Japanese Garden, Mini Zoo, Nursery and different beautiful lawns. Pinjore Gardens also seems more imposing during the night time when the beautiful fountains and colourful lights create a magical atmosphere. Its descending terraces provide a magical effect.
Mini Zoo
This small and well maintained zoo has different types of animals and birds. You can see here tigers, panthers, peacocks and parkeets.
Nursery
This is the place where little saplings grow. There are different varieties of flowers that grow in the garden.
Japanese Garden

Pinjore Garden at its best
The garden is clothed in a festive mood during the months of April to June. It is the time of the celebration of Baisakhi Festival and the annual Mango Festival. Celebrated with great pump and show, these festivals became memorable due to the large-scale participation of people. You can see the latest varieties of mangoes that are displayed here by the Agricultural Universities.
