Introduction
Badkhal Lake is one of the popular attractions of Haryana. Noted for the scenic views, the lake attracts many tourists. Visitors from nearby locations visit the lake to take a break from the routine life and to refresh their mood. Located at a distance of around 32 km from Delhi, the lake is bordered with Aravalli hills.
Not only for nature lovers but also for bird watchers, a visit to the lake is a feast. A large number of locals as well as migratory birds can be seen here. Chirpy sound of these birds keeps the environment lively and musical. Water sports facility at the lake invites adventure enthusiasts here. Surrounded by abundant natural beauty, the lake is a perfect place to spend quality time. Tourists visit this lake to enjoy an escape from the routine life. Badkhal lake is a popular picnic spot for the people in nearby areas.

Water Sports
Badkhal lake is a place that has different aspects. Tourists can enjoy water sports at this natural lake. Boating, canoeing, swimming, angling and kayaking are the popular sports here. For beginners and kids, Badhkal is serving as a safe place to sharpen their skills. If you are little more adventurous, you can hire luxury yacht.
Pilgrimage
Shiva Temple and Shirdi Sai Baba Temple are the two famous pilgrimage attractions near Badkhal lake. Devotees visit Shiva temple especially on Monday to get their wishes fulfilled. Shirdi Sai Baba temple remains crowded on Thursdays. Tourists from far-flung areas visit the temple to get the blessings of Sai Baba.
Another popular pilgrimage is Baba Farid's Tomb. According to the belief, the city is named after this Sufi saint. It is also believed that the saint was the founder of the city.
Other Attractions
Aravalli golf course is unique attraction. Having a rich history, the attraction is not less than a paradise for golf lovers. Initially set up in 1966, Aravalli golf course is sprawled over an area of around 45 acres. The golf course had organised several annual golf tournaments.
Town park in Faridabad is also amongst worth visiting attractions of the region. The park is a favourite place for kids due to a large number of rides in the park. Tourists visit these attractions during their trip to Badkhal Lake.
