Alappuzha Beach

Located in the district of Alappuzha, it is a famous beachwhere you can relax and indulge in exciting water sports. Flanked by dense palm groves, it is a long sandy beach attracting tourists from far and wide. It is also popular for its 140 year old pier extending into the sea. Located 85 km off Kochi Airport, the beach offers perfect environment for rejuvenation. The beautiful Vijaya Beach Park near the beach offers boating facility.


Varkala Beach

The most favorable time to enjoy at Varkala beach is during the month of October. It is a mesmerizing beach offering sheer natural beauty. It is located 42 km off Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. It is also famous for its Mineral springs which are believed to have medicinal properties. The other two main attractions are the Nature center and 2000 year old Janardana Swamy Temple. It is the only place in South Kerala which has cliffs lying adjacent to the Arabian Sea. There is a religious belief attached to this beach according to which taking a bath in its water washes away all sins.


Marari Beach

This captivating beach spreading across 25 acres of golden sand is famous for fishing. Here you can pamper yourself with rejuvenating Ayurvedic massages. Hemmed in by lush green surroundings, the beach has luxurious beach resorts which provide amazing accommodation facilities.


Kovalam Beach

It is among the most happening spots in Kerala where tourists come in great number. Set between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats, the beach is a famous honeymoon tour destination. It is located 16 off Thiruvananthapuram. It boasts of three mesmerizing crescent shaped beaches namely the Lighthouse beach, Hawa beach and Samudra beach.


Bekal Beach

Hit this mesmerizing beach and enjoy your holidays in an environment offering peace, natural beauty and adventure. Spreading across 35 acres, this beach also has the Bekal Fort located near it. The perfect time to visit this beach is from August to March.


Kappad Beach

Steeped in glorious history and natural beauty this beach fascinates one and all. The famous Portuguese explorer Vasco De Gama came here in 1498 along with 170 sailors and discovered the sea route to India. There is an ancient temple (built around 800 years ago) located on this beach which adds more charm to it.


Shanghumukham Beach

Set in a peaceful environment near Thiruvananthapuram, this beach is a big hit with sunset watchers. It offers overwhelming views of sunset. The other attractions here are the matsya kanyaka(statue of a mermaid), indoor recreation club and starfish shaped restaurant.


Somatheeram Beach

It is a fascinating beach which sprawls across 15 acres. It boasts of the most famous Ayurvedic Resort named Somatheeram Beach Resort of India where a variety of Ayurvedic therapies are offered. It is the oldest Ayurvedic resort in the world. With the change of season, the color of the sea water changes which makes it a fascinating beach destination. Located only 21 km from Trivandrum, this beach is a perfect package of holiday and health.


Payyambalam Beach

Enveloped in enchanting natural beauty, it is the longest beach of Kerala. Ideally located in the Kannur district, this beach has been shot in several movies. There is a beautiful garden next to this beach which has a sculpture of a sculpture of a mother and a child made by the famous sculptor Kanayi Kunhiraman.
