  • The rajputana Sheraton at Jaipur and the Jaypee Palace were excellent but The Park in Delhi, wasn't in the same level, the public spaces like corridor were dirty.
Excellent experience guided and suggested by an excellent tour conductor. Thanks a lot.

The Dzukou Valley

Tucked away at 2438 m above sea level, the Dzukou Valley is located behind the Japfu range in the north eastern state of Nagaland in India. With the arrival of June and September, the whole valley is covered with a carpet of different wild flowers. For those who love nature, the valley is the most ideal place. Just 30 km from Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, the meandering streams freeze during extreme winter.

The Flora of Dzukou Valley

Unaffected by civilization and splendid in its beauty, the valley is known as the 'Valley of Celestial Charm'. It has a fascinating appeal to all who gaze it. In summers, different wild herbs and shrubs start growing along the stream banks. Lilies in pink and white, aconitums, euphorbias and many other botanical species in different colours decorate the valley in monsoon.

Trekking in Dzukou Valley

It is among the best trekking spots in the North-Eastern region. Surrounded by hills, rocks and natural caves, it is ideal for camping as well. Despite of the difficult terrain and less facilities, it is the most visited trekking spot in the region. Its emerald green rolling hills interconnected by beautiful flowing streams are trekker's fantasy.

How to Reach

By Air: Dimapur is the nearest airport. From there, you can take a taxi to reach the valley.

By Rail: The nearest railhead is at Dimapur.
