By Rail: Many travellers love taking train journey to Kodaikanal and get down at Kodai Road. Thereafter, one can take taxi service to reach the main town which is about 100 kilometres away.

By Road: Regular bus services can be availed from the cities of Chennai, Coimbatore, Pondicherry and Madurai to reach Kodaikanal.
